Emily is an artist, researcher and occasional writer. Their research explores material tectonics, maintenance, weathering, as well as caloric and thermal expenditures in architecture. They hold a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College and a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

They are currently working on a set of architectural accessories and are the incoming Department of Architecture Teaching Fellow at MIT.
